Cancellation Policy
We understand that things come up, illnesses occur, and schedules get over booked. In order to best serve our clients and have availability for all that need care, we must implement a cancellation policy. We ask for at least 24 hours notice for all cancellations. If you cancel within the 24 hour period before your appointment, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee. If you are able to reschedule to another time in the same week, the fee will be waived. What if you wake up ill the morning of your appointment? Message Dr. Liz and let’s figure out what would be the safest option for everyone. If frequent cancellations or rescheduling occurs, we will have a discussion on how best to move forward and come up with a schedule that is beneficial to all.
Inclement weather: You will hear from our office if there is severe inclement weather that prevents safe travel the day of your appointment. In that instance, we may need to reschedule or cancel. If you feel unsafe driving in the weather, please reach out and we can discuss. We do not follow school district/government cancellations or delays.
Holidays: Holidays and time off observed by Sparrow Pelvic Health will be marked on the online scheduling platform and will not be available for schedule. If you have a regular time that you schedule that falls on an observed holiday, we will make sure to get you scheduled for an alternative time.
Menstruation and/or Flared Pelvic Symptoms: You do not need to cancel your appointment if you are menstruating or have other flared pelvic health symptoms the day of your appointment. We can always make adjustments to treatments that day and most patients feel relief from some manual work and therapeutic techniques during these times.
