Liz earned her Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in the Finger Lakes region of NY. She has been passionate about working with neurological, orthopedic, and pediatric populations throughout her career. She has 18 years of experience as a physical therapist in a variety of settings.
Liz became interested in pelvic physical therapy when she noticed many of her clients in various settings struggling with aspects of pelvic health including pain, dysfunction, and incontinence. She witnessed the physical as well as psychological impacts that these concerns had on many of her clients. She has undergone intensive pelvic health physical therapy training for both adult and pediatric populations.
Liz takes a whole body and fully integrative approach when treating clients. She enjoys problem solving and thinking outside of the box. She prioritizes being up to date on current research and practices and is engaged within the medical/therapy community. Liz is trained in Visceral Manipulation through the Barral Institute, experienced in advanced assessment of gait mechanics in pediatric and adult populations, and implements myofascial work and fascial alignment work with all patients. She takes the time to work with clients at their own pace and view interactions as needed through a trauma informed lens.
Additionally, Liz completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, focusing on alignment-based, mindful yoga for all ages in 2018. She was also been on the adjunct faculty staff at The University of Maryland Baltimore School of Medicine Physical Therapy Department from 2018 to 2023. She enjoys teaching and mentoring other physical therapists, students, and allied health professionals.
